Yesterday the Tawny Owls were pretending to be Stone Age cavemen. We know that pottery was invented in the Stone Age so we decided to create our very own. Look at how fantastic they are!

We are poets and we didn’t even know it!!
Today the Tawny Owls have worked exceptionally hard to write their version of the ending of cave baby. We have written it as a poem and in the style of Julia Donaldson. I am so proud of the outstanding work that has been produced today and I cannot wait to see the end result. Well done Tawny’s keep up the good work!n

Anti bullying
Friendship paper chain
As part of out anti-bullying week the Tawny Owls have been thinking about how to make everyone feel included and happy. Today we have all put our names into a bag, children then picked out a name from the bag and wrote a nice sentence about that child. They then decorated their piece of card. We read them all out and I loved all the kind things people said about the other children in the class!

Tawny owls say no to bullying!
Today in Tawny owls we have been talking about what bullying is. We have been thinking of how we can help stop bullying, what we should do if we are being bullied and what we should do if we witness anyone being bullied. We have then started to create our own ‘Tawny owls say no to bullying’ posters.
